FREE ACTIVITIES
Blagaj
Most people need a day off and it sounds great and climbers desperately need it. To make climbing better after a day of rest we will give you a few tips on how you can spend your free time. We all know that a day of rest for true climbers can be very active and interesting instead of sleeping in your tent, camper van, trailer or in a super comfortable apartment room.
In Blagaj you have fun and interesting things you can do besides climbing. Cycling, hiking, via ferrata, canoeing, fishing, swimming, caving, socializing, wandering, searching for natural treasures or exploring the history of the region.
If you prefer a holiday based on lying down drinking beer when the hot summer days are a mustvisit the Layz Bar.
Mostar
You should definitely visit Mostar and see the old town where the UNESCO-protected Old Bridge is located and a symbol of the city. There you have a rich offer of cafes, restaurants, pastry shops, etc. but we would recommend one place called Craft Beer Garden imaimoze where you can try homemade craft beers, homemade brandy and juices. Here you can meet local climbers.
If you decide for a somewhat active day of rest in Mostar, you can try the zipline, which is located on the most beautiful view of the city.
If it is raining and the weather conditions are bad for climbing outside, if the temperatures are too low and there is no sun or you even feel the need for pure strength training, you can visit the boulder gym in Mostar. Working days and time: Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 19:00 to 22:00
Boat ride to Vrelo Bune and Canoe safari
For many, a special attraction is a boat ride through the cave at the source of the Buna.
Vrelo Bune is the largest karst spring in Europe in terms of water, with 43 cubic meters of water coming out of the spring in one second. It is specific for drinking water at the spring itself, and also on its longitudinal part further. Buna is a left tributary of the Neretva, into which it flows about 15 km downstream from Mostar. At the very spring there is an old dervish tekke. Before the source itself, the Buna flows nineteen and a half kilometers underground. Above the spring on a high rock of about 180 meters is the fortified town of Stjepangrad.
There is also a canoe safari which is not demanding as the river is calm and allows you to relax and enjoy its entire course.

Via ferrata: “Vulin potok” – Vulin stream
Vulin stream is a canyon through which the stream once flowed and has long been part of untouched nature, while today there is the possibility of passing through the canyon via via ferrate, which was named after him. Via ferrata requires a little rock movement skills and appropriate equipment: helmet, climbing harness, outdoor tene, via ferrata kit and gloves.
The beginning of via ferrate is located at the entrance to the canyon, 150 meters to the right of the source of the river Buna. It consists of several jumps, where the largest has a height of 30 m. The weight is A, B, C. In addition to passing through an attractive 1,500 m long canyon, you can enjoy the flora and fauna.
