March to October
- Climbing Via ferrata “Armin Gazic”.
- Fabolous view from one of the highest tops of mountain Velež
- Walk over the suspension bridge
The tour begins at Fortica mountain lodge ZIPLine. Fortica offers a mountain lodge that accommodates 12 people. The car ride from Fortica to the parking spot and the start of the hike to „Armin Gazic“ via ferrata is 10-15min.
Throughout the hike towards the „Armin Gazic“ ferrata, you will enjoy stunning views of the Mostar valley and Podveležje plateau, where you can see breathtaking, steep and massive Velež rocks. This tour takes you across the northern side of Velež to Brasina, one of the highest peaks of the Velež mountain and down the beautiful southern side of the mountain.
„Armin Gazic“ via ferrata is 350m long and 200m high with difficulty level B, detail C.
From the top of the peak Brasina, during clear, sunny days, you will be able to see the Mediteranean sea. There, we will take a lunch break, followed by a 2.30h hike back to the Fortica mountain-house where dinner will be waiting.
After breakfast, from the front of the mountain lodge, we’ll take the first zipline to Stolac fro a hill facing opposite from the starting point. We’ll ascend down the Devil stairs, a set of rocky natural stairs leading us towards our next destination. Afterwards, we’ll climb the via Ferrata (difficulty level B) and walk over the suspension bridge, followed by a lunch break. With the second line of the zipline, we will fly back to the end of the tour and say goodbye.
